Let’s get ready for Kindergarten together! This week long camp will prepare your child for their transition to kindergarten in a relaxed and engaging environment. Your child’s development will be nurtured through sing alongs, hands-on activities, crafts, outdoor explorations, read-alouds and more! These activities will provide opportunities for your child to grow in social development, number sense, shape recognition, motor skills, and pre-literacy skills. Campers will receive a WCA Summer Camp T-Shirt. Limited space available!

Baton Club

Girls will be able to learn basic twirling skills along with a choreographed routine, which will be presented to parents on the last day of camp. Campers will receive a WCA Summer Camp T-Shirt & a baton. Limited space available!

Through interactive games and exercises you will learn the Seven Basic foundations of stage performing. Each day will build upon the next to create a full performance at the end of the week. Campers will receive a WCA Summer Camp t-shirt.

Music Camp: Vocal Performance Workshop
Led by: Lisa Halleland
Grades: 6-12 (boys & girls)
Students will be instructed in the preparation and presentation of classical vocal technique. The workshop will include ensemble and small group instruction as they prepare a diverse repertoire for a small choral performance at the end of the week. Campers will receive a WCA Summer Camp T-shirt & sheet music.

Ladies Self Defense
Led by: Kourtney Sladek
Grades: 7-12 (girls only)
Learn basic self-defense techniques that can help you escape a dangerous situation and principles that can reduce the risk of encountering those situations. Simple moves you don’t need years of martial arts training to utilize, taught by skilled martial artists. This camp is open to 7-12th grade girls, moms and women in the WCA community, participants should be prepared for discussion of real world dangers and ready to practice escapes and offensive strikes. Campers will receive a WCA Summer Camp T-shirt. Limited space available!

Household Life Skills Camp

Grades: 7-12 Boys & Girls
Join Claire Rogers and Karen Hussey for a fun and relaxed week as they explore basic household-life skills! Through exciting hands-on activities students will gain tips and tricks on:
- meal planning/nutrition
- cooking/baking
- basic hem and button sewing
- etiquette
- how to tie a tie several different ways
- wrapping presents
- basics on laundry and ironing
- and more
He or she may not know it yet, but your teenager wants to develop these lifelong skills. Campers will receive a camp apron. Limited space available!
